The HOPE schools are very important for hundreds of children
from very poor families in Ethiopia. Their lives changed when
they got the opportunity to join a school in Addis Ababa, Dessie
or Gambella. -- Marike de Kloe, educational consultant
Almost all children that enter the Ladders of HOPE successfully
complete the whole chain. The field-visits, interviews and questionnaires
to pupils and ex-graduates show that these target-groups are
happy and have a clearly improved self-esteem. They indicate
that their social-economic situation has improved. They show
a positive appreciation of the quality and professionalism of
HOPE Enterprises. -- TMF Economic Development expert study
